As president of the Pacific Shipping Group, I direct a sincere “thank you” to all those persons, companies and partners who honored us with their trust and business and continue to do so. It has been over eighteen years now that we take pride in being citizens of the shipping world. We started as a shipping agency back in 1999 and today we are successfully active in ship-management, chartering, projects , logistics and shiprepairs, the most challenging activities in shipping. I am confident and the feed back that we get from all those who worked with us, enhances my confidence that we have been successful these years serving our clients.
I address also a “welcome” invitation to those seeking a reliable partner in shipping and call them to contact us with their requirements, giving my personal assurance that these will be treated with the utmost attention by our team.
Today, our ship-management and chartering activities are housed in our own premises in Istanbul. We manage a fleet of ten vessels comprising of two bulk carriers trading worldwide and eight general cargo vessels navigating the Mediterranean, Black Sea and West Africa where we have grown in strength considerably the last years and will continue to do so with the addition of fresh tonnage to our fleet. Our chartering team fixes all types of ships daily worldwide and is highly competitive in the dry sector in the ports of the Black Sea, North and West African, Middle East and the European Med regions. In addition to regular cargoes, from grain to steel products, our chartering handles project and special cargoes from A to Z.
The ship-agency, our starting point, serves huge amount of over one thousand vessels annually calling in Turkish ports and transiting the Turkish straits and operates out of our owned premises at Istanbul,Izmit and Mersin. The agency personnel applies the principle “your ship is our ship”.
We always keep our companies financially in safe position to avoid the negative effects of rapidly changing global economic conditions therefore Pacific Shipping Group succeeded to maintain growth during the most difficult economic period of 2008-2012 and despite the hard market conditions we are glad to see that our group of companies are still keeping their improvement on capacities and service qualities. Our main focus is to have long term relations with our business partners inorder to keep mutual growth for the satisfaction of both parties. We are seriously taking care of our Client’s benefits
